Will you be a singer? Dancer? Model? Actor? Composer? Producer? Director? Writer? Editor? Cinematographer? Wardrobe specialist? Set designer? Lighting expert? What on earth is your passion? Where do you turn best? (It’s nice in case the reply to those latter questions may be the same…but, unfortunately, the answers often differ.) It’s your decision to consider what you are looking that should be famous for.

Why narrow it down? Why can’t you have it all? The truth is: You don’t must narrow it down. And you’ll have it all. We have seen it in the so-called “hyphenates” (the actor-writer-director or actor-singer-dancer). We also find it during the persons who excel in their craft to the point where they’ve already won all prestigious entertainment industry awards: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony. (To date, only 10 persons have achieved this milestone.)

A risk with declaring out of your outset which you everything and master each are that many people-casting agents, producers, directors, thus on-may label that you “jack of the trades/master of none.” There can be very few excellent models who will be also excellent actors…so few excellent actors that are also excellent singers…so few excellent singers which are also excellent dancers…most citizens are skeptical of folks who say he is efficient at multiple talents. Here is the era of “trash television” when noisy, narcissistic housewives and minor celebrities with alcohol abuse problems dominate some of the airwaves. A big outstanding work being done, in both “the system” and independently-on TV, on film on stage, and also in music. The truth is-whether you need to do trash work or work of substance, whether currently employed within and out it, it’s all diligence. It’s usually time-consuming and energy-draining. It may be energizing too. And exhilarating. And immensely rewarding in the dollars and attention. But it’s usually working hard. So, since you’re gonna be working hard…whether to be a model or actor, singer or dancer, writer or director an additional perhaps the entertainment industry…choose your journey carefully. Choose the path that should reward your bank account and unfortunately your soul, if possible.
